    Mission43 + VEA

An ongoing partnership supporting veteran, veteran-spouse, and still-serving entrepreneurs across Idaho, from idea to execution and beyond.

    A Connected System of Support

Mission43 is an Idaho-based nonprofit helping military members, veterans, and their spouses successfully transition to civilian life through three core pillars: Education, Employment, and Engagement. Their mission is to make Idaho the best place in the country for life after the military, and all of their programs are free.

Entrepreneurship is one important piece of that bigger picture. Mission43 supports it by providing access to education, foundational programs, and community, and by partnering with VEA to deliver hands-on business support.

Through this partnership, military-connected entrepreneurs in Idaho gain access to a connected system of education, mentorship, relationships, and practical business guidance, designed not just to serve Idaho, but to set a new standard for veteran entrepreneurship support across the country.

The focus is simple: help entrepreneurs move from idea to execution, and continue supporting them as they grow.

"This partnership represents a pivotal moment for military entrepreneurs in Idaho and beyond. By joining forces, we are setting a new standard for what dedicated support looks like for our military community as they embark on or continue their entrepreneurial journeys."

Isaac Belden, Founding Executive Director, Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance

    How the Partnership Works

Built around ongoing support, not one-time programs. Entrepreneurs are connected to both organizations and engage with resources as their needs evolve.

    Community & Networking

Both organizations invest heavily in building an engaged military-connected community, including our combined monthly Vetworking event in Meridian, which merged Mission43's coffee hours with VEA's Vetworking gathering.

Together, this creates a system where entrepreneurs are not left to figure things out alone after attending a course or event.

    Why This Partnership Matters

Entrepreneurship support is often fragmented. Education, mentorship, and networking are typically offered in isolation.

This partnership removes that fragmentation while creating an environment where better ways of supporting veteran entrepreneurs can be developed and tested in real time.

What is built and refined here has the potential to influence how veteran entrepreneurship support is approached far beyond Idaho.

"The level of tailored support and services that this partnership creates for military connected entrepreneurs is unparalleled. Instead of being just another number to national services, members are recognized for who they are and what they bring to the table."

    Alison Garrow, Education Director, Mission43

    Why Idaho is Leading This

Idaho has become a proving ground for what effective veteran entrepreneurship support can look like. Strong community partnerships, engaged organizations, and a willingness to collaborate have created an environment where support systems can actually evolve.

Instead of operating in silos, organizations like Mission43 and VEA work together in a way that prioritizes outcomes over ownership.

    Faster Iteration

Quickly learn what works and what doesn't.

    Stronger Connections

Tighter links between entrepreneurs and resources.

    Personalized Experience
